Update on TBQ8 July 2026! Still responding to submissions from last year! We received 2k plus submissions. Popular lit mag is popular. I only have 1500 more to reply to. Apologies for the delay!
I thought I was done writing my book last July, and then I had top surgery, and THEN my editor took me through four more drafts of my bullshit – I mean, book. The good news is, there are actual editors out there somewhere. And I am one of them, and I am still responding personally to each submission AND telling you my favorite part. I could have done a little bit at a time each day and been done with it by now, but unfortunately my brain doesn’t work like that with creative projects. I think I’m finally ready to hyperfocus on making a lit mag!
